Channels and Devices
Since 1996 when Betware launched the world’s first Internet game for a licensed lottery, we have developed many different types of Internet-based games and continue to lead in this field.
Betware offers a full suite of games ranging from pari-mutuel sports betting games to popular casino games. The open API of the BGP makes it possible to use a variety of different technologies to create the gaming experience desired by our clients.

Betware offers customers the choice of having the BGP integrated with existing terminal systems or purchasing ready-made terminals. In the past Betware solutions have been integrated with the GTech central system and with the Scientific Games central system. Currently Betware can offer all the following terminal categories:
-
Self Service Terminals
-
Full-Service Terminals
-
Limited-Service Terminals
- Supporting Non-lottery functions
Interactive Television will undoubtedly be a significant channel for future gaming. Sports betting is being transformed with the advent of interactive real-time betting action.
Betware has developed a solution for IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) and follows the development of the competing iTV standards, such as DVB’s Multimedia Home Platform very closely. Betware’s aim is to make sure that our current and future customers can easily adopt an iTV solution that best fits their needs.

Since today’s mobile phones offer possibilities going far beyond ordinary phone calls with an increasing degree of interactivity, display options, colour features, internet connectivity and user friendly tools, they are quickly gaining recognition as a popular choice for gaming
Games offered by Betware for mobile phones range from simple SMS solutions to more demanding MMS, WAP, Java 2 ME and Macromedia Flash renderings of popular games. Betware can incorporate any game developed for the internet for use on the mobile phone as well.
PDAs (personal digital assistants)
Betware is able to incorporate all games offered on internet websites and mobile phones also on PDAs. The merging of the PDA and wireless technologies offers new and exciting possibilities for interactive gaming that go beyond the conventional form of gaming offered on the internet.
Among the devices supported by Betware are those running the Pocket PC and Palm OS operating systems.
Cash registers at supermarkets and other retail outlets can be used to print tickets such as lottery coupons to be handed directly to the individual customer who may be purchasing other items (such as groceries) at the store as well. Betware supports the system required for gaming through such a channel.
These are designed solely for gaming and have similar features to personal digital assistants.
