Betware partners with Ingenio to offer a new variety of games of chance

11.10.2006

Betware and Ingenio have signed a license agreement, which will give Betware the opportunity to market Ingenio’s games to its clients around the world. Betware can offer Ingenio’s games in its portfolio and Lottery clients may choose the games they wish to install.

Ingenio, a subsidiary of Loto-Québec, has been developing unique interactive multimedia lotteries for the industry for the past eight years. Coupled with Betware’s ten year experience in the development of web-based gaming solutions, the two companies see this as a fruitful partnership and one which is assured to be enduring and profitable for all the industry.

“From the start of discussions, the complementarities of our two organizations seemed natural to us, quickly leading to the agreement we are announcing today”, explains Nathalie Rajotte, Ingenio’s director general. “By partnering with Betware, Ingenio is gaining an upright and credible partner that offers a comprehensive, powerful transactional platform perfectly in line with our short Flash games”.

“All Ingenio’s Flash enabled games are ready to run on the Instant Game Server since it has the flexibility to allow for the integration of third-party software. Any client who requests these games would be able to launch the games within a very short time because Ingenio games and technology are easy to plug into the Instant Game Server,” says Steindor Gudmundsson, Core Team Manager at Betware.

With this agreement in effect Betware will add Ingenio’s games to the services it offers to lottery corporations worldwide, which will widen Betware’s product offerings considerably. Says Svanur Thorvaldsson, Marketing Director at Betware, “instead of approximately 30 games we previously offered, Betware can now give close to 60 games on top of our platform to present and potential clients”.
