Interview with Stefán Hrafnkelsson, CEO of Betware
Last evening Betware was featured in the news at Channel 2 in Iceland. The main topic was Betware in general, when the company was established, revenues in the last year and the fact that Betware is actively seeking cooperation with lotteries in the US market.
In the interview Stefán Hrafnkelsson, CEO of Betware, commented to the reporter of Channel 2 that the US market is one of the largest lottery markets in the world and that it would be excellent for Betware to tap into that market. Stefán highlighted though that discussions with a US based Lottery (the Massachusetts Lottery) are in the early stages and that it is too soon to talk about the future outcome as the gaming market is highly regulated in the US and to date the US lotteries are not authorised to offer online gaming.
