Betware among fastest growing companies in Iceland
Betware was chosen as one of the top four finalists of Vaxtarsproti 2008 - an Icelandic Award for Fastest Growing Companies.
The award was founded in 2007 as a cooperation of University of Reykjavik, the Federation of Icelandic Industries and Rannis The Icelandic Centre of Research.
The objective of this is to draw attention to the companies which achieved exceptional growth and are showing great potential. Key factors which are being carefully measured by the jury are:
- Company's revenue and growth indicator,
- Amount spent for R&D over past two years (has to be more than 10% of revenue)
- Company's founder should still be working for the company
